You may admire on the marked hiking trails the beauty of the landscape and you may breathe the fresh mountain air both during winter and summer time.

The Măgheruș hiking trail

Toplița – Gura Măgherușului – the Toplița Cascade Natural Reserve – Gura Zăpodei – Pârâul Găinii – the Măgheruș and Bradul slopes – Dealul Crucii – the Banffy-Toplița resort.

The travelled distance: 7.2 km.

Marking: Red dot: low difficulty degree, it may be easily travelled both during summer and winter.

The Moglănești trail

Toplița – Moglănești neighbourhood – the Doamnei Monastery – the Doamnei Hill – the Piciorul Crucii Peak ( 997 m. ) – Toplița.

The travelled distance: 13.5 km.

Marking: Yellow dot – low difficulty degree, it may be easily travelled both during summer and winter.

The Călimănel trail

Toplița – Călimănel neighbourhood – Vâgani Glade, Băieșu Peak ( 987 m. ) – the Southern escalade side – Călimănel neighbourhood.

The travelled distance: 9.2 km.

Marking: Blue dot – medium difficulty degree, nor recommended during winter.

Borsec

In the Borsec area there are tourist trails proper to the national standard , with a length of 116 km., professionally marked on most of the area, towards the Făget Mountain ( 1,305 m. ), Piciorul Făgețelului ( 900 m. ) and the Arcoza Mountain ( 1,224 m. ).

Corbu

Hiking trails: in the Bistricioara Valley, to the Țibleșul Mic Peak ( 1,668 m. ), to the Albia Peak ( 1,587 m. ) and the Piatra Roșie Peak ( 1,508 m. )

Sărmaș

Recommended tourist trail: Piatra Caprei Hodoșa ( Gyergyóhódos ).
