Events of the week 31st of July – 6th of August 2017

On Monday, the 31st of July 2017, at the Commune Museum from Tulgheș, the Ia Academia event will take place.  Initiators: Tulgheș Commune and La Blouse Roumaine. The project is supported by the Romanian Literature National Museum from Iași and the Ethnography Museum from Piatra Neamț. Organiser: Ruralia Expert Development.

On Wednesday, the 2nd of August 2017, the weekly fair in Sărmaș will take place at the Food market.

On Thursday, the 3rd of August 2017, the weekly fair in Subcetate will take place at the Food market.

On Friday, the 4th of August 2017, from 8 PM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, on the small stage there will be a folk dance show followed by a recital by Szabó Katalin, Fazakas Csaba and Nagy Nándor. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation.

On Saturday, the 5th of August 2017, from 9 AM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, at Borsec Community Centre there will be a Chess contest, followed by the greeting the official delegations of the twinned localities, congratulating the young people who turn 18 and a show of the Folk dance group Czifrasarok. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation.

On Saturday, the 5th of August 2017, from 4 PM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, on the Kerek football field the Mini football championship will take place. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation.

On Saturday, the 5th of August 2017, from 4 PM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, at Cetatea Bufniței the Blessing of the cross and the inauguration of the tourist route Cetatea Bufniței – Stadium will take place. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation. On Saturday, the 5th of August 2017, from 4 PM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition on the grand stage an Artistic programme by the children from Borsec, Toplița and Gheorgheni from the St. Francis Foundation from Deva and the dancers from the Jasztanc Foundations from Jaszapati – Hungary will take place, as well as a show by the Czifrasarok folk dance group. The programme will continue with the Remetea Brass band, the Löfan cheerleading band from Dunaföldvár, Hungary, the One More Minute band and Szőcs Renáta & Live band, followed by Alina Eremia, Andreea Bălan and Mery Great. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation.

 

On Sunday, 6th of August 2017, from 10 AM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, on the Kerek football field the Mini football championship will continue. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation.

 

On Sunday, 6th of August 2017, from 10 AM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, at the Sports Hall a Table tennis contest will take place, followed by a Basketball contest. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation.

 

On Sunday, 6th of August 2017, from 10 AM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, on the small stage a Food contest will take place, followed by Bartina Folkloric Ensemble. Organisers: Borsec Town Hall and the Pro Borsec Foundation.

 

On Sunday, 6th of August 2017, from 3 PM, within the Borsec Days event, the 22nd edition, on the grand stage the show will start with a recital by Sarosi Florina Gabriela, followed by the Folk dance goup from Tulgheș and by awarding the participants to the sports competitions. The show will continue with recitals by Mara and Cristina, followed by the the Löfan cheerleading band from Dunaföldvár, Hungary, Ungaria. Other names in the program: the Wifi band, Oprea Mircea and Nagy Levente, Friday Rehab, Titán and Dreamland Residents. The evening will end with the traditional camp fire.

On Sunday, 6th of August 2017, the weekly fair in Bilbor will take place at the Food market.

Between January and December 2017, the Toplița „George Sbârcea” Town Library organises a photo contest, entitled „Don´t hasten the pace”, on the Library´s Facebook page. Thus, the competitors must upload 5 relevant photos of their locality on the Town Library´s Facebook page, tag   #nugrabipasul, but also on their Facebook page, with the same tag, inviting their friends to like them. The most beautiful 20 photos will be published in the topLITERA magazine. The most beautiful 5 photos will be awarded by the care of the magazine´s sponsors, and at the end of the year there will be an exhibition of all the posted photos.

Between March and September 2017, Cluj County Council, „Octavian Goga” Cluj County Library and A.N.B.P.R. organise a new „Battle of the books” reading contest. Children aged 11 to 13, teenagers aged 14 to 18 and adults may enrol. Enrolment is done at all sections and subsidiaries, throughout the duration of the contest. Children have the possibility to read in Romanian and English, teenagers – in Romanian, Hungarian and English, and the adults – in Romanian. For the Romanian respectively Hungarian sections, 10 titles are proposed for reading, and for the English sections – 5 titles. The entrance permit to the library is obligatory. All the 10 books in contest must be read until September 2017. A reading sheet will be handed when enrolling, where one may write down their impressions on the book. When returning the book one has read, one will receive a Reading notebook, where he will give 1 to 5 points for each book he read (1 point for a minimum score, 5 points for a maximum score). Teenagers may choose the digital format of the Reading sheet. The final will take place in October. The finalists´ list will be announced 20 days before the event.  The finalists (the participants who go through all the 10 titles) will be invited to the library, where they will be explained how the finale will take place. The finalists may be accompanied by supporters: classmates, teachers, parents. The finale will include: the Convince me to read! debate, where the participants will argue for their favourite book;  a contest on the read books;  judging and the award ceremony. The participant who will argue best his favourite book and who will answer the best to the questions will become the Reader of the year. The most requested and highest score book will become the Book of the year. Other awards: Best reading sheet, Best pleading. The contest´s results will be promoted in the media and on line. For the adults, the Battle of the books will be in the form of a reading club, with regular meetings where they will discuss the titles proposed for reading, and in the end they vote the Book of the year.

Every week, from Tuesday till Friday between 8 and 12 AM, you may visit the Communal Museum from Tulgheș.

 

Every Thursday, at the Commune Museum of Tulgheș a sitting evening for the children will take place.
